The Assembler, Electronics will support our delivery of electric power safety and test equipment to our customers.   This position requires a safety mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a team setting.  The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.    

 

This is a full time, first shift role, Monday through Friday.  Additional hours as needed, including some weekends.    The position pays $15.09 per hour.

 

Job Summary:

     Perform operations including but not limited to:

o   Soldering or machining

o   Use basic hand tools and battery-operated screw drivers and drills

o   Mechanically assemble a range of various controls, tools, and probes and perform high voltage testing on assemblies

o   Glue probes and assemblies

o   Correctly label a variety of manufactured products

o   Track and document serial number accuracy

o   Measure and cut wires

o   Complete work order forms

-          Perform all job tasks in compliance of safety and quality policies and procedures, including test cage operation.

 

-          Perform all additional duties as requested by manager

Qualifications:

Basic

-          High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate preferred.

-          6 months experience soldering, machining  or building in an assembly, manufacturing, or similar setting

Preferred

-          Prior electronics assembly experience  

-          Perform operations efficiently with minimal supervision

-          Able to complete daily tasks with extreme attention to detail

-          Handle related tools properly

-          Use independent judgment of finished product

 

-          Be able to follow verbal and/or written instructions (English)
