Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

Robert Half is seeking an ambitious, versatile, and talented Business Systems Analyst III to support the following roles.

Protiviti IT Solutions Lead (Primary Focus)

A successful candidate will apply their adaptability, diverse IT experience, knowledge of Protiviti business practices, and wide-ranging knowledge of information technology to drive resolution of IT and Security issues in creative and effective ways.  Also analyze Protiviti business problems to be solved using existing IT systems, processes, and procedures, the modification of them, or the creation of new ones.  This may involve the evaluation and application of previously unused technologies to create secure solutions.  This individual will provide analysis of alignment with Protiviti business requirements, user needs, objectives, process, and overall business strategies.  They will at times lead and facilitate complex projects and be a top-level contributor/specialist, providing Protiviti-specific guidance to other BSA resources and project teams.  This requires collaboration with, or leading, diverse cross-functional IT and business teams.

Change Management Facilitation

The Analyst will collaborate on effective communications strategy and minimizing deployment impact for new or updated IT systems in partnership with key business stakeholders and IT teams.  They provide feedback on alignment with Protiviti business requirements, user needs and process, and obtain formal approval from business owners.  

IT Security, Compliance, and Regulatory Liaison (as needed)

The Analyst must develop a detailed understanding of all RHI and Protiviti Information Security policies, recognize and report on changing regulatory, customer, or Protiviti needs that impact IT.  They will evaluate the compliance of IT systems against ISO 27001 and SOC 2 security standards and frameworks as needed and advocate for IT policy, process, or infrastructure changes as needed to address those requirements.  Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills will be required to organize the information request activities of both internal and external audit teams.  A successful candidate has the ability to effectively facilitate information gathering and remediation efforts within IT utilizing cross-functional, matrixed teams. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, other technical training in business, or equivalent.


• 6+ years of business functional area experience.


• 4+ years of broad-ranging IT project experience with the function and architecture of servers, networks, desktops, IT security products and Microsoft 365 SaaS.  Cloud infrastructure experience a bonus.


• Having a consulting background and being customer service oriented and polished is a big plus.


• Proficient in the use of common MS Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.


• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.


• Ability to communicate business or audit processes to technical resources.


• Ability to create process flow or high-level system architecture diagrams.


• Ability to gather requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with key stakeholders.


• Ability to perform gap analysis based on requirements.


• Ability to develop a project plan, meeting established deliverables and timelines.


• Ability to conduct meetings, gather information and present status.


• Experience with, or knowledge of, one or more common security standards / frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HITRUST, NIST 800-30 is a bonus.
