Responsibilities

This position will be the key financial partner for the Global Product Solution function (global software, robotics, and advanced mechatronics engineering teams) by providing controlling and accounting support.  This position also provides strong insight and analysis to assist senior leadership in making informed decisions. The preferred relevant experience is 5-8 years, however the level of the position is flexible for strong candidates.  This position will have broad exposure to various functions within Dematic’s organization with high visibility to senior leadership.

 

Core Responsibilities of the Position:


  • Lead planning and reporting of global software engineering & commercialization teams and distribute monthly actual and forecast reporting packages summarizing monthly results for global function leadership.

  • Prepare quarterly business review presentation along with explanations of changes and trends to global leadership.

  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monthly forecast updates in conjunction with global leadership, local regional finance controllers and the FP&A group.

  • Implement and standardize workload planning & reporting for specialized engineering teams around the globe.

  • Perform quality control for consolidation of global managerial reporting and workload forecasts.

  • Support implementation of new global BI reporting tool.

  • Review, summarize, and identify key trends in regional savings reporting.

  • Create as needed new templates for data collection to support on-going or one-time requests.

  • Support Global and Local Vice Presidents and Director, Finance on special ad hoc analysis.

  • Other ad hoc as assigned.


Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements: 


  • Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Finance or Accounting.

  • 3-5+ years in progressive financial analysis experience is required.

  • High degree of motivation, intelligence, independent worker mindset with a detail orientation.  Ability to work remotely from others on Finance team.

  • Should be a team player with the ability to develop solid working relationships across multiple levels.

  • Advanced MS Excel user with working knowledge of pivot tables formulas, and graphs.

  • Experience working with an international organization with use of multiple currencies is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SAP a plus.

Travel Requirements:


  • Up to 10% travel requirements.

  • Some international travel may be required.
