Sr. Business System Analyst, Analytics

Responsibilities

• Engage with cross functional business and IT to understand requirements, analyze, design, and help build solution for analytics and data science products




• Ability to analyze complex requirements and come up with simple actionable user stories




• Deep knowledge on cross functional data and ensure data quality on the products launched




• Build dashboard prototype to help business visualize end products




• Involve is testing the analytic products for functionality, User Interface, and data quality




• Provide technical support to business teams on Tableau and Tableau Prep for self-serve analytics and define best practices and develop user guides




• Follow agile methodologies and deliver continuous enhancements on products




• Manage and execute data analytic vision to promote business teams adopt data and use data for decision making




• Maintain a strong personal base of knowledge of data platform technology, industry practices, trends, and issues




• Collaborate closely with the analysts and scientists across the organization




• Able to provide statistical techniques, quantitative data analysis and predictive analysis and scenario based analysis




• Ensure data security and compliance measures are in place for every product delivered




• Debug and identify root cause for critical issue and provide solution recommendations




• Supports senior management by creating architecture, project management and roadmap documentation




• Optimize release management to strike good balance between business goals and delivery capacity




• Identifies and manages risks in release delivery and communicate with stakeholder with clarity and mitigation plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business or related field or Masters in Degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering including mathematics and Statistics




• 7+ years’ experience in a Data Analyst or similar role supporting cross-functional business units globally




• Strong understanding of data and metrics related to Account, Opportunity, Quote, Order, Fulfillment, Assets, Billing, Trouble Tickets, Audit information, Net Promoter Score, Customer Lifetime Value, Bookings, Revenue, Churn is a MUST




• Experience is building customer data centric products like Account 360, Sales centric analytic products and executive metrics is a MUST




• Experience on data center domain with knowledge of datacenter products is a nice to have




• Strong on statistical and data analysis techniques like Regressions, classification, Anomaly detection, Hypothesis testing and experience to apply them during data analysis is a MUST




• Strong analytical skills in analyzing complex problems, processes, and systems to propose solutions




• Ability to document and prototype business use cases and data flows




• 5+ years of solid experience in developing dashboard in Tableau and Power BI




• Able to understand the complex data model and connect to various data sources like SFDC, Exasol, Google Big Query and AWS




• Tableau certification is MUST and experience working on Tableau Online (cloud) and Tableau Server including Tableau prep




• At least 4 years’ experience in building custom functionalities on Tableau using Python, Java or XML scripts




• Must have experience in PostgreSQL and Oracle




• Must have experience on CRM, MDM and Finance related domains




• Experience on applications like Salesforce, Marketo, Siebel, SingleView, Oracle R12 financials




• Experience using JIRA for project management
