RCM Manager at First Pacific Corporation

Job Description:

First Pacific is looking for a Dental RCM Manager to support our growing client base.  As a key member of the RCM Department, you will oversee day-to-day activities, track productivity of the team and ensure that billing and collection activities are timely and accurate.  You will review daily and monthly reports, analyze outcomes, identify trends, ensure timely and proactive communication to clients and be instrumental in process improvement and change.

What your Impact will be:


  • Continually seek to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and works cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality service for our clients

  • Drive front-end process changes that lead to more successful revenue cycle outcomes and improve client satisfaction

  • Identify and implement consistent policies and procedures

  • Assist with determining appropriate internal staffing levels; recruit, hire, and onboard new staff

  • Monitor staff productivity to ensure timely and accurate work completion

  • Ensures that accurate and up-to date instructions surrounding the RCM processes are maintained and clearly communicated in a timely manner

  • Performs routine audits and holds monthly/quarterly one-on-one reviews with RCM team members

  • Reviews, coordinates, documents and updates the team on all dental billing compliance issues

  • Oversee Electronic Funding Transfer (EFT) process.  Balance EFT to EOB, accounting reconciliation and client set-up

  • Expert knowledge of outgoing and incoming insurance processes and insurance follow-up

  • Expert in electronic payment (836) (RMS) process

  • Expertise in designing and documenting business processes from execution of project

  • Follow up with insurance carriers on special insurance billings and claims

  • Oversee new conversions insurance setup

  • Reviews, coordinates and updates all dental billing compliance issues

  • Understanding of general business operations

  • Responsible for key client assignment and on onboarding

What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor s degree from four-year college or university and/or Dental Billing & Coding Certificate strongly preferred

  • A minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Extensive knowledge of dental billing/coding

  • Strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including private HMOs, and PPOs

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required

  • Excellent client-facing skills

  • Ability to manage and integrate information located in multiple software systems

  • Proven leadership skills to manage, motivate, and set expectations with team members.

  • Must be able to prioritize and accomplish objectives in a timely fashion

  • Ability to train and coach employees.

  • Professional demeanor required
