COMMUNICATIONS ANALYST

JOB TITLE:       Communications Analyst

DUTIES:             Responsible for helping define and execute communications intelligence and analytics strategies. Work with the communication team to identify opportunities, measure results, optimize outcomes, and provide world-class reporting solutions. Combine online analytics with offline intelligence to establish reporting and dashboard tools, while identifying key insights in communications campaigns and activities that will help Jabil make agile, strategic decisions. Work with various team members and other key stakeholders to develop and define key communications questions and goals and to build models and data sets to help the team reach these goals. Build the functions and delivery platform in the long-term evolution of our analytics and reporting capabilities. Manage the measurement, analysis, and optimization of Jabil's external and internal online properties, marketing, and communications activities. Work closely with respective team members from various communications disciplines (content marketing, social media, marketing communications and internal communicators) to optimize and coordinate campaign strategies. Mine and analyze online/offline data pertaining to target audience experiences and translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for improvement. Analyze website performance, trends, paths, and results of online marketing initiatives and site enhancements to provide data-driven insights. Develop and implement dashboards, metrics, and studies/surveys that summarize data insights, outcomes and implications, and quantify the value of different aspects of content and campaigns. Build dynamic and rich dashboards using out-of-box features, customizations, and data visualizations. Manage weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting and analytics deliverables to internal business partners. Create and deliver senior management presentations. Evaluate external tools and define our communications intelligence investment case. Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support/enhance Jabil's communications intelligence landscape components. Provide analytics thought leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistical Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Optimization, Computer Science, Research, or in a closely related or equivalent field, or foreign equivalent. 3 years of experience in analytics. Experience to include each of the following: 3 years of experience with reporting tools; 3 years of experience in analytical concepts and techniques, including clustering, regression, trend analysis, forecasting, modeling, and experiment design; 3 years of experience in measurement science or technologies; 3 years of experience in programming languages; 3 years of experience in Video Analytics; 20 months of experience with paid advertisements to promote the brand and service offerings; 20 months of experience in email marketing platforms; 20 months of experience in Social Media Analytics; 20 months of experience in Search Engine Optimization to enhance the quality and quantity of traffic to a website; and, 20 months of experience with Salesforce to measure Net Promoter Scores (NPS).

In lieu of a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, the employer will accept the following:

Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistical Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Optimization, Computer Science, Research, or in a closely related or equivalent field, or foreign equivalent. 5 years of experience in analytics. Experience to include each of the following: 5 years of experience with reporting tools; 5 years of experience in analytical concepts and techniques, including clustering, regression, trend analysis, forecasting, modeling, and experiment design; 5 years of experience in measurement science or technologies; 5 years of experience in programming languages; 5 years of experience in Video Analytics; 20 months of experience with paid advertisements to promote the brand and service offerings; 20 months of experience in email marketing platforms; 20 months of experience in Social Media Analytics; 20 months of experience in Search Engine Optimization to enhance the quality and quantity of traffic to a website; and, 20 months of experience with Salesforce to measure Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
