An established acute care medical center located just outside of the Greater Boston region is currently searching for an experienced Phlebotomist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This acute care medical center is home to nearly 150-beds and provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical facility is equipped to offer a variety of services including emergency and urgent care, primary care, perioperative services, oncology, pediatrics, and women’s health services. Under direction of the Laboratory Supervisor and Phlebotomy Coordinator, the Phlebotomist will perform a variety of clerical duties to receive, direct, and process patient specimens within the laboratory. The Phlebotomist will also perform phlebotomy procedures in sub-acute, long term care healthcare facilities, and adult day care centers within the health system.

The Phlebotomist must have at least 1-3 years of prior experience working as a phlebotomist within a hospital laboratory setting. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and sound judgement while handling situations. Current and valid phlebotomy certification is required.
