JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for administration of the physical security programs in a manner consistent with Charter policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. These programs include conducting facility security risk assessments, assisting with access control, monitoring alarms and CCTV systems, and providing security related training.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete annual facility security risk assessment for division sites, documenting findings in a timely manner and presenting recommendations to appropriate departments
Manage security access systems, alarms, and CCTV systems within region, handling installation plans, technical issues, system updates, and repairs
Monitor security systems operational effectiveness, consistently checking systems for camera clarity, placement, and recording efficiency
Work with Security Coordinators to continually evaluate and determine strategic division site needs and provides in-field support whenever necessary
Perform other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Education
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
2-3 years of experience handling access controls, alarms, or CCTV systems
