We are searching for a talented Senior QA analyst who will be a key contributor to the team. The Senior QA analyst will maintain a high bar for quality of our products. This candidate will possess a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creative thinker, have a strong aptitude for problem solving, and have zero tolerance for quality deficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the fervent desire to continuously learn about different products and technologies. You will be working closely with data and analyzing it using manual and Automation techniques. The QA Analyst works closely with developers, Product and project managers in the delivery of error-free data to assure customer satisfaction with data accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards. The ability to understand and analyze complex data is essential.

Responsibilities:
• Understand QA methodology and full life cycle of data processing from acquisition to integration to extraction.
• Define QA approach and understand end to end process/ data flow
• Develop and coordinate all testing artifacts and activities (Test Strategy, Test Plan, test cases, Test Automation Scripts and test results).
• Understand business and product needs and be able to profile data; determine trends, patterns, inconsistencies; draw conclusions
• Aggressively Identify code issues and communicate effectively in order to have quick turnaround in code for retest
• Work closely with cross-functional development teams to help establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation.
• Identity key performance metrics to evaluate and provide information on data quality and integrity.
• Develop and further maintain and improve backend automated tests.
• Participate in product design discussions and provide QA estimates
• Ensure that any new data sources and enhancement initiatives maintain consistency and implementation of best practices
• Prepare and analyze data presentations for both internal and external use
• Fulfill ad hoc data files and report requests; devise and maintain various data mining studies
• Identify and implement improvements in QA processes as needed
• Identity key performance metrics to evaluate and provide information on data

Requirements:

• Computer Science or Engineering Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional QA experience, including 3 years in analytics, data analysis and/or data quality assurance review
• 4+ years' experience in SQL and Data validation, transformation and extraction logic.
• 4+ years' experience in Unix/ Linux commands and Unix Shell scripting
• 2+ years Data Warehouse and reporting experience using Tableau or any BI tool.
• 4+ years' experience working with DB2 or any database.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment; excellent time management and organization skills
• Ability to automate backend processes
• MS Excel and any Business Analytics tools experience
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of QA methodology and process improvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels
• Confident and energetic self-starter with good follow-through
• SAS scripting and Automotive data knowledge is a plus
