An accredited acute care hospital located in the Greater Columbia region of South Carolina is currently searching for an experienced Manager of Medical Staff Services to join their award-winning healthcare team.

Under direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Manager of Medical Staff Services is responsible for planning, implementing, managing the medical staff and allied health credentialing program which including initial appointments, annual reviews, reappointment, proctoring, and privileging in accordance with regulatory, accrediting agency and bylaws requirements. The Manager of Medical Staff Services will also ensure that the bylaws, rules and regulations, and fair hearing documents are current, reflect current practice, and are consistent and in compliance with all standards and regulations.

The Manager of Medical Staff Services will direct the daily operations of the Medical Staffing Services department. The Manager of Medical Staff Services must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, current Professional Medical Staff Management Certification (CPMSM), and at least 5 or more years of progressive management experience within a Medical Staffing Services department.
