Description Herman Miller's Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their career. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you'll write code to support web applications used by Herman Miller dealers. You will also drive technology strategy pieces to help guide Herman Miller's digital transformation.

Inside the Job
Your day-to-day work will involve:

- Working with front end code (user-facing) as well as back end code (databases, server, etc.)
- Supporting multiple applications that enable the shopping experience, including content management system, recommendation engines, and front-end experience
- Working alongside the team on real code that is being used daily
- Gaining on-the-job work experience aligned with your career objectives
What You Bring
Needed skills and experience for this role include:

- Experience with application development
- Experience with software development and languages
- Experience with code delivery and code repository
- Previous internship experience, and you are self-motivated and a go-getter
- Enrollment in and pursuit of a four-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide transcripts upon request. You'll need a GPA of at least a 3.0 (cumulative or within your program) to qualify for consideration.
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Favorable academic standing within your current academic program
