JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Payroll Administrator

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Payroll Administrator. As a Payroll Administrator, you will process payroll for all group branches.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* This position is responsible for preparing reports and recommending procedures to improve organizational performance.
* This position is responsible for accurately maintaining Payroll files and records in a timely manner. Responsible for the processing and shipping of payroll checks.
* Responsible for routine payroll functions and maintaining accurate payroll files and records.
* Responsible for maintaining/updating payroll records and acts as a liaison between Profit Centers, Field and Corporate staff.
* Has a working knowledge of Ceridian software to support personnel.
* Performs any other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager / HR Manager.
* Being accountable and responsible for all aspects of quality service for internal employees.
* Research and resolve employee questions / concerns.
* Process manual checks for employee payments.
* Maintain employee's files and records.
* Enter wage garnishments / levies as appropriate.
* Perform other duties assigned as by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma
* 2 year accounting degree desirable
* Prior Payroll or Customer Service experience, Workday experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word
* 4+ years of general office work experience
* Keen and strong attention to detail
* Ability to Multi-task and be highly organized
* Excellent verbal skills
* Must be able to work overtime.
