Job Description:

As an Order Processing Coordinator, you will fulfill orders that have been submitted through PPG's order entry system. You will work with the Color IT department and Order Entry team to anticipate inventory demand requirements, help handle inventory levels and assist in monthly, physical inventory counts. Order fulfillment procedures may require contacting the customer or a sales team member to clarify orders!
Key Responsibilities

• Captures orders from PPG specific software and ensures they are fulfilled according to procedures
• Verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments
• Handles returns and issues credits as appropriate
• Update internal records, logs and tracking information
• Calculates and records postage and shipping charges
• Prepares items for shipping by packing, sealing and labeling items
• Records, verifies and researches shipments and deliveries using bills of lading, invoices, computer software tools, and other records.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheets.
• Learn our warehouse software and become familiar with our online ordering website.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information in or on cases or other containers.

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years' experience using Microsoft Office Suite of products, especially Excel and Word, working with Operating System platforms (including Windows 7, XP and Vista).
• Knowledge of computerized inventory and shipping systems a plus.
