Provides IH services for the facility. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understands and implements industrial hygiene programs, (SPA for 10 protocols);


• Is a knowledge resource for management for all IH protocols;


• Prepares annual IH budget;


• Conducts audits of IH programs;


• Conducts training courses for Respiratory Protection and Confined Space Entry, and other IH/Safety courses as needed


• Performs traditional IH air monitoring and noise surveys;


• Performs heat stress monitoring and analyzes data;


• Develops annual sampling strategies and implements the collection of appropriate samples;


• Performs instrument calibration on air sampling pumps;


• Inputs field data into electronic IH management system;


• Maintains the SDS database and chemical inventory;


• Chair of Confined Space Committee;


• Maintains confined space monitor program;


• Conducts safety audits, as necessary
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. in Industrial Hygiene or Safety


• Effective oral and written communication skills


• Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) designation
