Job Summary:
Responsible for resolving delinquency on automobile loans, negotiating payment arrangements; skip tracing to locate customer or unit and reviewing accounts for repossession. This position is in a manual queue-based calling environment with minimal auto dialing. SA DSC Level 3's work in a structured team setting with shared goals

What you'll do:
- Handle inbound/outbound collection calls in a professional manner.
- Maintains good customer relations with borrowers, and effectively solves problems in an effort to resolve account delinquency and prevent losses.
- Review open accounts for collection efforts
- Negotiates account resolution and accurately inputs and documents actions within the collection systems while maintaining company performance and productivity standards.
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
- Maintain and update customer demographic and employment information on a regular basis
- Review open accounts for collection and skip trace efforts
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
- Strategize work queues according to company objectives
- Skip trace to locate customer or unit
- Identify opportunities for account recourse
- Send all applicable statutory notices
- Review accounts for repossession
- Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and review with supervisor as needed
- Review and monitor any assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
- Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
- Escalate calls as required.
- Follow and maintain policies and procedures in all aspects of the position
- Perform other assignments and duties as directed by supervisor.
- Meet or exceed charge off and delinquency goals, monthly, quarterly and annually

Who you are:
- High school diploma, or general education degree (GED) required
- College degree preferred
- 4+ years collections and skip tracing experience required
- Previous auto collections experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
