Job Title: Delivery/Warehouse Driver

The job scope includes the following:

- Is comfortable driving a flatbed, truck and trailer or box truck, and can do so safely

- Drives vehicle from warehouse to destination and back, according to assigned schedule and routes complying with all State Department of Motor Vehicles laws, adjusting to driving conditions, and using seat belts at all times

- Must be aware of their surroundings when driving, paying close attention to any blind spots and clearance around and over the vehicle.

- Understands basic loading and unloading processes

- Must have a Utah DOT medical card. Class B CDL or higher preferred.

- Has the ability to understand and carry-out directions from leads and field supervisors

- Is professional in appearance and in manners

- Has good oral and written communication skills

- Has physical strength and stamina required to lift and move boxes and equipment. The employee must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Considerable use of arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, and walking is required.

- Has strong work ethic and very ethical approach to the business; is punctual and self-motivated; has the ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts

- Is mechanically adept and knows how to safely use tools and equipment

- Takes ownership for assignment results and details—follows through to assignment's finish

- Is capable of reacting to varying project/field conditions and able to make decisions to solve problems and changes in the scope of work

- Understands and follows through with consistent and accurate paperwork—receiving documentation, detailed time sheets, inventory check-out, etc.

- Paperwork is neat, clear, intelligible and complete, and done in a timely manner

- Communicates task status and problems to field supervisors/leadman and dispatcher in a timely and clear manner

- Can carry out most assignments with little or no supervision

- Can pre-plan small assignments,

- Can analyze assignments for correct tool, supply, and equipment requirements, as well as small parts and product pulls from warehouse.
