Position Responsibilities
We are actively seeking a Consulting Delivery Director to join our growing Deltek Global Consulting (DGC) team. This position will be responsible for management of the success of our DGC staff supporting our flagship Costpoint product and will report to our VP of Consulting.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing leadership for multiple disciplines and teams. Aligning DGC with our strategic company vision, whilst leading the team in program execution in support of DGC goals. Interfacing with and providing regular updates to the DGC Leadership Team and our Senior Leadership Team.

* Responsibility for the success (partially measured by customer satisfaction) of all services work performed. Managing and developing a team of Project and Program Managers to effectively manage a portfolio of Deltek engagements. Responsibility for specific revenue, utilization, accounts receivable and margin goals.

* Providing sales support to the DGC Solution Development team by reviewing, collaborating and assisting in the delivery of proposals to both clients and prospects. Collaborating with Executive VPs, VPs and Solution Development Directors in other service areas to develop integrated service strategies for key accounts. Working with other Delivery Directors to define appropriate skills and staffing levels within the overall Delivery practice while optimizing the mix of resources. Demonstrating the ability to construct and/or support development of consulting deals that protect the company.

* Operating as part of the DGC management team, assuming accountability for project results, as well as, the results of the entire DGC Delivery organization. Demonstrating the ability to assess the risks and rewards to the organization of potential decisions.

* Responsible for institutionalizing the Deltek Implementation Methodology within their portfolio projects and managing / monitoring compliance.

* Demonstrating and supporting professional practice standards, adopting a philosophy of constant improvement across all business processes and systems. Maintaining oversight responsibility for the achievement of compliance in all areas of Delivery.

* Developing and maintaining relationships/partnerships at the executive level with project sponsors and steering committees during client engagements. Provides direction to Program or Project. Manages to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and is the point of escalation for client issues of magnitude. Executes regular one on one meetings with direct reports.

* Remaining updated on client / project status regularly using standards established by the DGC PMO. Draws on executive support when needed to assist in the achievement of these goals. Attending project reviews and steering committee meetings as appropriate.

* Impacting revenue growth by maintaining staffing levels within the Delivery organization to correlate to the correct utilization targets. Working with the Solutions Development team, ensures overall proposal constructs are consistent with standard methods and best practice, risk tolerance levels and profitability targets. Assisting with defining utilization targets and compensation plans that support these components.

* Demonstrating the ability to assess the risks and rewards to the organization of potential decisions.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role we would love you to have the following:

* 10 + years of direct/indirect people management experience.

* 5+ years of P&L Management experience.

* 10-15 years (or more) of Project Management/Consulting experience. Consulting experience is required.

* B.A. or B.S. degree advanced degree is preferred.

* Experience with managing large scale technology implementations specifically multiple at the same time.

* Ability to consult with executives (internal and external) Engages in dialogue with senior executives internal to Deltek and within the assigned customer base.

* Expert level knowledge of P&L management, forecasting process and activities, people management principles, professional development, progression planning and talent management.

* Excellent knowledge of and experience with resource management on implementation projects.

* High level knowledge of annual budgeting process.

* Strong communication and leadership skills.

* Ability to work across multiple organizations internally and externally

* Ability to create forward thinking, strategic objectives and goals and ability to clearly communicate them to others.

* Ability to organize time effectively and determines the correct resources needed to effectively perform job assignments.

* US Citizenship and the ability to travel up to 40% at a time is required.
