Summary

Runs reports and analyzes data in support of supplier quality management programs and asset management, ensuring profitability and efficiency.  Gives operational systems support to build and maintain Alternate Sourcing program and project. Analyzes performance/quality metrics to ensure contractual obligations are met.  Supports the identification and certification of alternative suppliers.

Core Responsibilities


  • Provides analytics and decision support for Supplier Effectiveness Programs and purchasing functions. 

  • Supports program initiatives involving standardization of decision support information.  Drives program profitability by building, maintaining, and training others on tools and job aids to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned programs.

  • Provides reporting (including ad hoc reporting), analysis, and decision making to fulfill requests of suppliers, regional purchasing and inventory management teams, and executive teams (fill rate/profitability/order volume/DC capacity levels, etc.). Coordinates program reporting (product shipping information, product availability status, backorder reporting, etc.). 

  • Develops appropriate backup procedures of key databases that contain critical programs or project information.  Documents SOPs in order to run standard reporting.  Audits and rationalizes standard reports on an annual basis to ensure reports are current, useable, and still applicable. Recommends changes or updates as applicable.

  • Inputs data into various systems (JDA, Edge, BRIM, Customer Master Files, etc.) to support multiple Alternate Sourcing programs, including Wave (non-rebated sales), Long Lead (non-rebated sales) and Rebate Credit (rebated sales).

Qualifying Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Two or more years of relevant experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Healthcare, Logisitics, Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management or related area

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements

  • Must be able to work independently and have great attention to detail, due to regulatory/legal restrictions and high visibility in company

  • Fluency with spreadsheet, database management, word processing, and business intelligence tools

  • Must be able to work seamlessly in various systems (JDA, Edge, BRIM, Customer Master Files, etc.) to support multiple related programs including, but not limited to, Wave (non-rebated sales), Long Lead (non-rebated sales) and Rebate Credit (rebated sales)
