Description:
The Claims and Regulatory Compliance Analyst is the liaison between distributors and carriers to expedite resolving loss and damage claims for the network.
Requirements:
The Claims and Regulatory Analyst's primary responsibilities include:
* The Claims and Regulatory Compliance Analyst is the liaison between the company, distributors and carriers to expedite resolving loss and damage claims for the MolsonCoors Network.
* Accountable for management of all the claims process ensuring that all claims are resolved timely and accurately
i. This includes disrupted loads, truck accidents, disrupted rail shipments, derailments, stolen trailers of beer, warm or frozen beer occurrences.
ii. Distributor claim intervention, making decisions on where to dump unsalable beer, negotiating with distributors to unload damaged product or with carriers to restack disrupted pallets.
iii. Coordinate transportation for large product recalls.

* Determine where beer will be dumped, who is responsible for freight and labor costs.
* Coordinate transportation.
ii. Involve TTB, Federal and State tax departments and/or state and local health departments when necessary ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Meets with contract partners quarterly, to resolve loss and damage claim issues acting as a liaison to leverage relationships to assist in driving closure/mitigating cost.
* Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of performance metrics as the business needs change. This includes indirect management of a third party service provider that:
i. Acts on behalf of to secure the appropriate documentation.
ii. Validates claims and initiates recovery directly with the carriers on behalf of.
iii. Monthly reporting of loss and damage claims metrics (claims filed, funds recovered, carrier metrics, etc.)
* Initiates development of and executes internal / external Communications related to policies for loss and damage claims.
* Responsibility for Customs and DOT compliance management related to claims for the Logistics & Transportation. Ensuring that processes are robust and MolsonCoors is compliant with all transportation rules & regulations.
* Ensure that the company is compliant with all Federal and State regulatory and rules relating to transportation
* Facilitate internal audit trail for compliance by Customs Brokers, foreign suppliers and Company departments
* Coordinate and maintain Policy procedures regarding U.S. Customs claims regulations
* Loss & Damage compliance and other regulatory compliance. Ensures appropriate documentation, education, and communication of upcoming requirements.
* Develop and manage collaborative relationship with Import/Export team to ensure highest levels of service thru the following:
* Actively support the developing solutions and driving closure with issues related to ocean and inland carriers, warehouse and DC claims and other 3P service providers for import brands to ensure attainment of compliance requirements while minimizing operational cost
* Support Import/Export team in all matters regarding compliance to Customs regulations, related to inspection requirements for product destructions, etc.
* 3 to 7 Years transportation/logistics, warehousing supply chain preferably in the beverage industry and/or consumer products.

* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Business Knowledge and understanding of key economic drivers in truck, rail and third party suppliers this includes, fuel, base rates, service bundles and pertinent legal and government requirements.

* General understanding of industry knowledge including opportunities, risks and ability to proactively forecast upcoming challenges.

* Ability to identify, build and maintain relationships or alliances that are of short- and long-term significance to the business success of.

* Good understanding of the interdependencies within the integrated supply chain.

* Ability to identify and understand the financial levers that drive distributors, and retailers businesses to maximize volume and ROI.

* Organizational and leadership skill to be part of multi-divisional activities, analyze large volumes of information, evaluate and resolve semi -complex issues in rapidly changing environment.

* Strong PC (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS-Outlook, SAP) and analytical skills, experience in Business Objects and SAP are highly desirable.

* Working knowledge of technology and systems application and interdependencies across the transportation and logistics and into the broader supply chain and other linkages (SAP, AR, AP, EDCR, DCS, DRS, Mainframe Systems, & 3rd Party Freight Management & Claims Systemic Programs).
