SUMMARY:

The eAuth Intergrator provides technical support to our client; the USDA Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Program, within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The position provides IT and technical support that provides oversight and coordinates efforts to implement the processes, policies, and technology necessary to deliver enterprise-wide identity, credential, and access management capabilities to USDA agencies and staff offices

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position serves a highly technical, yet customer support oriented role for the ICAM/eAuth team. It requires an in-depth understanding of the SiteMinder and Identity Minder application suit. In addition to, web server configuration and architecture, troubleshooting and analytical problem solving capabilities, as well as strong documentation skills. An ability to understand and accurately follow integration procedures along with internal change management processes is required.

As a customer facing representative of eAuth, this position requires outstanding interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills. Effectively interacting with members of an external application development team to implement technical solutions or resolve issues is essential to this position.

Assist with the formulation and implementation of IT security policy at the division level.

Required:


  • Identity based Authentication and authorization knowledge
  • CA SiteMinder intermediate to advanced skill set
  • SAML, OpenID Connect, PKI (public key infrastructure: digital certificates and how they are managed),
  • Clear and detailed communicator - written and verbal
  • Customer service focused
  • Manage multiple existing customer change requests in work queue
  • Manage multiple new customer integration requests
  • Able to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Gathering customer requirements and assessing customer needs against system capabilities
  • Technical and analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills,
  • Comfortable/proficient understanding of TCP/IP networking and how websites work - specifically, how an HTTP request is made by the web browser and responded to by a web server.
  • IIS and Apache https web server administration,

Nice to have (skills needed within team, but not necessarily held by all integrators on day one):

  • Windows and Linux server administration (with some command-line for each, understanding environment variables),
  • LDAP or Active Directory knowledge (understanding the technical basics of directories, like Active Directory and CA Directory, distinguished and common names (DNs and CNs), and user attributes, is a major facet of integration work)
  • Chrome/IE/Firefox dev tools and Fiddler,
  • Web development (back-end and front-end),
  • Basics of how RESTful APIs work.
  • NIST 800-63 knowledge
  • MFA, Okta, SSO
  • CA Access Gateway
  • Knowledge of RBAC and FICAM
  • Scripting: PowerShell, or Python and Bash would be transferable

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, engineering or related scientific or technical discipline. This position requires a minimum of two (2) years technical experience.
  • Security and identity management experience is desired.

  • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
