The Vice President, Enrollment Forecasting & Analysis is a key member of the Finance executive team and is involved in making and implementing the financial strategy for the company. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, this position oversees student enrollment forecasting for K12, in collaboration with business areas and cross functional areas to provide value-added strategic partnerships with Company executives. This position is a key partner to the business and will identify and make improvements to key operational processes.

- Responsible for achievement of K12 corporate goals by creating value for shareholders through driving innovation, superior execution, capturing benefits of scale, driving operating leverage, commitment to ethical practices, implementing best practices in finance, enrollment reporting and forecasting; Supports compliance requirements of K12 as an SEC registrant

- Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization

- Recommends benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance, and directs and coordinates line of business planning and budget management functions

- Oversees and owns the annual budgeting and planning process for driving enterprise enrollment assumptions, including assisting with systems, analytical tools, budget prep, analysis, sensitivities, variances, and quality of deliverable work product

- Oversees the monthly forecasting, analysis, and reporting efforts for the Company's enrollments, across all lines of revenue

- Monitors and analyzes monthly operating results against budget and forecast

- Owner for annual and quarterly public enrollment reporting in accordance with SOX policies and procedures and SEC reporting requirements

- Responsible for team development and leadership, promoting a culture of high performance, commitment to quality and a growth mindset

- Reviews, designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives

- Maintains continuous lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders such as management, leaders, human resources

- Oversees implementation of timely and effective decision-making through development of critical performance metrics, thoughtful and analytical commentary, return on investment and profitability measures, leveraging investments in technology, and promotion of leading business intelligence practices

- Drives bottom line profitability and decision making analysis through optimization of customer lifetime value, and recommending benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

- Improves operational efficiencies by identifying opportunities, implementing improvement and advocating for technological automation initiatives to aid in the process

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 2 - 5 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field with strong quantitative skill-sets AND

- Twelve (12) years of experience in a mid to senior level finance or analytics position OR

- Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

Other Required Qualifications:

- Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data and prepare reports and projections

- Expertise in developing and managing short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis

- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

- Flexibility to travel as needed

- Ability to pass required background check

Desired Qualifications:

- Post graduate degree or professional certification in a related field

- Experience in the education industry

- Experience in driving automation and efficiency improvements with proven results

- Experience with data science coding languages for data analysis and reporting (ie Python, SQL, etc)

- Expertise in quantitative methods, forecasting, rate-volume variance analysis, and causal attribution analysis
