What You'll Do

The CV Sonographer is responsible for obtaining high quality ultrasound images of the heart and vascular system.

The successful candidate will be able to:

* Perform and measure 2D Echo/Doppler studies, carotid duplex imaging, and noninvasive arterial Doppler studies

* Perform venous reflux and duplex exams

* Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms

* Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment

* Utilize CV Imaging database to file studies with accuracy

* Assist with training and orientation of new staff

What You'll Bring

* Technical or associate's degree required

* CCI or ARDMS certification required

* Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility

* Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills

* Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills

* Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions

* Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others

* Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations

* Demonstrate maturity and accountability
