POSITION OVERVIEW:

Grow your career! Excellent opportunity to manage strategic communications in an exciting and quickly growing industry. The Marketing Communications Director will be responsible for all marcom activities across Trimble s Autonomy business. The role will direct the execution of the businesses message and vision, through a variety of communication channels including: media relations, social, website, advertising, influencer programs and internal communications.

Working collaboratively with agency resources, journalists and internal subject matter experts the Autonomy Marketing Communications Director will increase visibility of the brand and further establish the brand s leadership position across a global market. With a working knowledge of a broad range of Trimble-centric subject matter, this role will help to align our thought-leaders and ideas with the topics that our customers care most about.

In this role, division marketing leaders are internal customers, yet the central goal of this role is to establish the Trimble Autonomy brand in the market. As such, we expect that there will be specific goals set to support multiple, complementary initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to learn fast, manage multiple priorities concurrently, and effectively lead teams to meet shared goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage a high performing team of over 10 people across multiple divisions for marketing communications

Champion the Trimble Autonomy message through a variety of communication channels
*

Manage Trimble Autonomy s campaign plan, deliverables, and metrics
*

Establish a regular reporting cadence across the business and establish meaningful KPIs to measure results
*

Coordinate the creation and management of Trimble Autonomy s online presence
*

Manage social media channels
*

Participate in key events when needed
*

Collaborate with corporate and franchise business stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Deep Marcom leadership experience with success in brand and communications transformation
*

Strategic thinker who can simplify the complex
*

Expert communicator in both written and verbal delivery
*

Experience managing communications agencies, freelancers and/or contractor talent
*

Experience managing budgets and contracts with ability to make sound tradeoffs when needed
*

Appropriate educational credentials
*

Experience in the industries Trimble serves is preferred
*
