DESCRIPTION:

The Business Project Senior Advisor will support our Legal and Compliance team. The purpose of this position is to actively partner with our leaders in Legal to identify and drive the implementation of key initiatives that supports the strategy of the department and of the company. This can include but not limited to supporting enterprise and process optimization initiatives. This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects and coordinating efforts, risks, trends, etc. between them.

IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE, OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Throughout the life cycle of each project, this role is expected to ensure that key stakeholders are informed and engaged.

  • Ensure that project deliverables are defined and communicated to the team

  • Define, estimate and schedule project tasks and interdependencies to achieve the scope through a clearly defined project plan/work breakdown structure

  • Identify project resource requirements and work closely with our sponsor/stakeholders to ensure adequately skilled resources are available to deliver on project commitments

  • Hold resources accountable for delivering on the project plan, including providing coaching and mentoring of resources

  • Set the project methodology that will best fit the project

  • Develop and maintain all project artifacts and records

  • Identify and track key measures of success for the project

  • Analyze project performance and identify solutions that enhance the end user experience with minimal to no abrasion

  • Implement risk mitigation plans to ensure project success

  • Consult with subject matter experts on ways to optimize and improve processes

  • Document processes, create playbooks and develop RASCI charts

  • Provide internal and external stakeholders communication and progress updates that effectively outline the project status, risk, issues and action plan

  • Work efficiently with business partners, vendors, technology and project management staff to develop the project agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives/deliverables by all affected constituencies

  • Efficient in clearly capture and communicatelessons learned to all stakeholders

SKILLS:


  • Bachelors Degree

  • Skilled to manage multiple high impact enterprise wide projects and satisfy requirements from multiple customers/stakeholders

  • Ability to balance approach to political, technological and administrative factors

  • Must be equally strong in planning, executing and closing of projects

  • Competency in adapting and proving in high paced, challenging, changing and ambiguous situations

  • Attention to details, ability to drive results and act independently with little direction

  • The ability to quickly understand concepts and drill down into actionable steps- solid understanding of project management tools, techniques, request acceptance criteria, artifact development and reporting

  • Solid understanding of business functional areas and management issues

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have strong working knowledge Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Must have strong working knowledge of MS office, Visio, Project and SharePoint.

  • Must have high level of organization skills, which includes, identifying stakeholders, arranging/managing meetings and follow-ups

  • Must have ability to navigate day-to-day activities andlook into the bigger picture to identifyrisks and issues proactively
