FINANCE OPPORTUNITY IN PGIM

PGIM’s Capital Management and Strategy team currently has an opening for an Associate Manager. The successful candidate will provide analytical and strategic financial support across PGIM, building effective business partnerships through interaction with each PGIM business unit finance team, as well as with other areas, including PGIM’s Strategy team and Controllers.

 

Responsibilities:

•Provide a leadership role in PGIM’s balance sheet risk assessment and mitigation efforts; collaborate with business partners to implement, maintain and improve PGIM’s risk budget framework


•Lead the compilation of monthly analysis and reporting on PGIM’s strategic investment portfolio to the PGIM Investment Committee


•Support the ongoing management of PGIM’s limited recourse borrowing facility through continuous partnership with external and internal parties; perform ad hoc analysis to ensure the facility’s LTV ratio, and other contractual requirements, remains in compliance through the forecast horizon


•Support PGIM’s Capital Management forecast re-design efforts, including developing a working knowledge of the team’s Anaplan forecasting tool


•Assist in the analysis of strategic projects, including M&A transactions


•Develop a comprehensive understanding of capital management concepts and assist with various capital analysis efforts (i.e., Dividend Process, Borrowing and Required Capital)


•Support ad hoc presentations and requests for information from other areas of PGIM and larger Prudential, as needed

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline required; Advanced degree and/or CFA/CPA is a plus


•5+ years proven track record working in financial services, exhibiting both business and financial acumen supported by superior analytical abilities; prior experience in Asset Management is a plus


•Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing and presenting financial presentations


•Proactive self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves,” lead by example style, and the ability to shift gears when necessary and work autonomously


• Must have strong collaboration skills and a demonstrated capability to partner


•Requires a high ethical standard and ability to work with confidential information
