Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI; CI Poly Preferred (IndraSoft will be getting a CI Polygraph for the selected candidate)

IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a GIS Software Developer with a Top Secret/SCI Clearance (CI Poly Preferred) to work in Aurora, CO (Buckley AFB). The candidate will be a highly motivated individual who works well as part of multi-disciplinary team. The candidate must have a strong foundation and extensive experience working with all phases of the software development life cycle.

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, or electronics or equivalent. Four (4) years of Information Technology (IT)/Software Engineering/development experience is considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

- 4-6 years of experience as a software developer and familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle.

- Experience developing and using ESRI geographic information systems (GIS) technology.

- Advanced experience working with client-side JavaScript frameworks (ex. jQuery or Angular).

- Proficient in .NET based web development to include ASP.NET and C#.

- Proficient using Microsoft SQL Server as an application back end database in support of web applications.

- Proficient with managing a software version control system (ex. Git or SVN) in order to facilitate quick patch management.

- Proficient developing applications following industry best practices and design patterns.

- Understanding of GIS concepts: Datum and projection concepts, X/Y vs Lat/Long usage and translation, symbology, annotation, dimensions, change direction options, long transaction edition, system sync options, schematic creation and spatial indicies.

- Manipulate geospatial data in GIS environments above using geoprocessing tools, projection tools, vector editing and on-screen digitizing. Creation of .mxd, .shp, .gdb, and .mdb file types.

- Should have knowledge of the following languages, frameworks, mythologies and software: .NET, Windows Server, ArcGIS Server, SQL Server, C#, Angular, D3, jQuery, Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, ESRI JS, CartoDB, Open Layers, ASP.NET, PowerPoint, Visio, BigData, RDF, and SEO technologies.

- Deep understanding and experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, eXtreme Programming (XP), Feature Driven Development (FDD), Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), etc.).

- Excellent communication skills and maintaining customer/team relationships.

Security/Certification Requirements:

- DoD Top Secret SCI Security Clearance; CI Poly Preferred

- Certification: DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II or III. Must currently be certified on one, or more, of the following (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or SSCP).

- Current, and relevant, Computing Environment (CE) certification relating to Software Development or Engineering (preferably ESRI certification, ArcGIS, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop plugins, extensions, and add-ons for the ArcGIS software suite and ensure continued integration with the ESRI database.

- Formulate and develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions to form desired results.

- Design, code, test, debug and document programs and processes.

- Create and modify custom scripts using Python (ArcPy), SQL, and other programming languages, to enable spatial and temporal analysis of both vector and raster data within an enterprise relational geodatabase.

- Prepare and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

- Use version control systems to manage code and quick delivery patches.

- Manipulate geospatial data in GIS environments using geoprocessing tools, projection tools, vector editing and on-screen digitizing. Creation of .mxd, .shp, .gdb, and .mdb file types.

- The contractor shall implement requirements following the local site change management procedures and using the ISO 14764 standard (Software Engineering - Software Life Cycle Processes - Maintenance) for categories of maintenance.

- Coordinate with the local site government POC to refine the product backlog and implement prioritized requirements.

Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, incumbent will be exposed to normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face. This position requires incumbent to have the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
