Job Responsibilities :

Provide semi-skilled labor intensive assistance for rotary drilling crews. This could include the operation of various types of vehicles, equipment/machinery, including:

Hauling supplies to and from the drill site

-
Manual material handling

-
Mixing drilling fluids

-
Assisting the driller in the drilling processes

The candidate will also be responsible for general condition and obtaining optimum life out of all site equipment and tools. You will be responsible for keeping sample trays in numeric order according to designated footages. Also, at times, you may be responsible for the training of new driller assistants in a safe environment.

Education and Experience:

Typically requires a High School diploma or GED or equivalent.

Qualifications:

Be able to lift 100 pounds frequently

Pass a background check and drug screen

Have a good driving record & valid drivers license

-
(Large rotary requires employees to be able to obtain a CDL)

-
Be willing to be gone weeks at a time and work in remote locations

-
Be able and willing to work 10-12 hours a day
