Overview
ATI is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Commercial team in a role that will be based remotely in Seattle, Washington. The Key Account Manager position is the primary point of contact between ATI and Boeing, who is one of ATI's top five strategic customers. This individual must represent ATI with the highest level of integrity and professionalism on a day to day basis and facilitate growth through the identification and communication of the customer and market needs. This position will expand the relationships and touch points between ATI and Boeing as opportunity permits and help develop the strategy for growth with these key accounts. This position requires a high level of motivation and a focus on balancing the demands of both the customer and ATI equitably. Additionally, this position will need an in-depth knowledge of ATI products and organizational business units to leverage opportunities with the target customer. This person must be willing to learn and adapt to change as the organizations change to meet the market demands.
Job Responsibilities
* Grow ATI share of account across all Business Units using the ATI Growth Process.
* Develop a working knowledge across all Boeing departments/disciplines: purchasing, quality, engineering, planning, etc.
* Identify new product development across all Business Units and define revenue/share potential.
* Understand the opportunities within the Boeing supply chain and define ATI Tier II/III potential and directed buy potential.
* Focused efforts to grow value-add business utilizing product and alloy capability across all of ATI's Business Units.
* Be an active member of the Aero Structure & Defense (Boeing Defense) MST Lead teams.
* Coordinate monthly Boeing account review and develop five-year plan with Business Units.
* Embrace and master the TMX/RMAS integration process for transactions between the ATI BU's and Boeing/TMX organizations.

Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a business or engineering related discipline
* Minimum of ten years' experience working in a business-to-business role through sales, marketing or business development activities
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications):
* Prior experience working in the metals industry
* Prior experience working with the aerospace industry
Skills:
* Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as other ERP and TMS systems.
* Ability to effectively communicate/present to internal and external audiences.
* Strong customer service orientation; must be able to satisfy the needs of the customer while looking out for the long-term relationship and contract management needs.
* Capable of penetrating and working with different parts of customer's organization including Senior Management, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D.
* Business Acumen -- Working knowledge of the ATI organization including Management, Legal, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Development and Accounting groups.
* Results Oriented -- is driven to succeed and can be counted on to exceed goals successfully.
* Negotiating skills -- can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups.
* Conflict management -- ability to read situations quickly and find common ground and get cooperation. Strong problem-solving skills utilizing company and customer resources to the benefit of both parties.
* Strategic agility -- can anticipate trends and consequences accurately; can help develop strategies and plans growing ATI's supply and interaction with the account.
* Time Management -- being able to effectively prioritize and attend to a broader range of activities.
* Technical Learning -- is good at learning new industry, company, product or technical knowledge.
