Versar is seeking a Senior Construction Quality Assurance Manager to work at our project site near El Paso, Texas in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers' funded southern Border Infrastructure Program that includes building the border barrier and associated structures. The ideal candidate will perform, supervise, and oversee all elements of the quality assurance program for the construction projects tasked. Five years previous project Quality Assurance experience is required along with familiarity with USACE's \\"Resident Management System\\" software (RMS 3.0). This assignment is for 3 years that may be extended to 5 years.

Responsibilities:

- Provides full-time onsite Quality Assurance surveillance duties in support of the US Army Corps of Engineer client.

- Coordinates, plans, and directs the construction Quality Assurance program to ensure the Border Infrastructure Program construction projects assigned are being performed in compliance with all USACE construction and safety requirements and specifications, and that the construction contractor is abiding by their USACE-approved Quality Control Plan.

- The Senior Quality Assurance position oversees other Quality Assurance Representatives performing services including onsite construction QA inspection, identifying and reporting potential construction issues to the proper authority, preparing quality assurance reports, logging and distributing submittals, quality control plans and storm water pollution prevention plans.

- Reviews safety plans and performs safety inspections when required.

- Provides onsite administrative services, witnesses material testing, performs quantity verifications, reports daily progress and coordinates with the Resident Engineer Office.

Requirements:

- Previous experience with the Resident Management System (RMS 3.0) software.

- Proficiency using Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Outlook is required.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- A certificate of attendance at US Army or Navy provided Construction Quality Management (CQM) training.

- Supervising Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs).

A minimum five (5) years' experience is required in the following:

- Performing Quality Assurance duties for construction projects.
