Versar, Inc. is seeking a Security Systems Engineer-Administrator to work in our Charlottesville, VA location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scheduling and performing recurring preventative maintenance which includes inventorying, identifying, and entering all equipment items or systems and their specific individual major components into an approved computerized maintenance management system
Periodic inspection, cleaning, adjustment, calibration, operational and safety checks, assessments of equipment performance and condition, written summary of findings and actions taken, proactive recommendations
Performing operator start-up/shut-down tasks, assessing and trouble-shooting equipment quality IAW manufacturer's standards and client's requirements.
Service Order Maintenance - maintenance, repair, alteration, equipment service requirements to restore equipment, system or facility area to acceptable condition, operation or performance.
Maintain status of all Service Orders received and responded.
REQUIREMENTS:
Active DOD TS/SCI Clearance is required
Four (4) years of practical electronic security experience, to include: Integrated Electronic Security System (IESS) installation, electronics repair, maintenance, testing, and turnover.
Must have previous experience with electronic and physical security systems and video management systems. Specifically, experience with Lenel systems.
Must have experience in system installations, cable dressing, making/repairing connectors, connecting electrical power including 220 Volt, rigid and EMT conduit installation including conduit bending, and fiber optics cable installation and termination.
High School diploma required. Formal electronics training from a Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.
CERTIFICATIONS: Lenel Certified Expert (LCE) and/or Lenel Certified Professional (LCP)
