Responsibilities
Delivers expert technology solutions support to Equinix GAM and Alliances sales
Develops technology strategy (application of Equinix IOA) for our Strategic Alliance with Google North America
Demonstrates domain expertise to support customer account planning, briefings, workshops
Prepares and presents strategies and solutions to Customers and internal groups
Develops peer relationships at a Senior Director / CxO Level with customers
Maintains strong relationships with senior decision makers in key accounts.
Assist in analysis & evaluation of new technologies to meet demand for product roadmap and technology platform goals
Keeps current with the state of the art by utilizing the GSE Solution Development Framework
Figures out and recommends direction of research on meaningful technology trends through analysis of technology impacts
Sets frameworks of implementation on technologies, standards, processes, tools and techniques
Evaluates opportunities, problems and concerns within customer context, business plans, technological statuses, and strategic direction
Evaluates and provides input on solutions in technology, processes, organizational, impact, commercials, and implementation plans
Develops a deep understanding of Equinix’ platform strategy, product lines and ecosystem development initiatives
As an inspiring leader in the domain, contributes to training, reading, research, collaboration and provides subject matter expertise at industry events
Leads internal global solution development activity and supplies new ideas to accelerate growth and adoption
Coaches and trains others in applicable domains
Qualifications
15+ Years in the functional domains of Network, Datacentre, Enterprise IT Systems, including Enterprise Architecture and Technical Architecture implementation preferred
7+ Years of Solutions Selling in a commercial pre-sales position preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline preferred
Advanced industry certifications (i.e. Cisco, VMware, MS, AWS), TOGAF (v9 Part 1 and Part 2), ITIL 3.0, or CCIE-Written certification preferred
