At NantGames we are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

Full Stack Developers will be required to see a project through from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web applications used by players and developers


• Contribute to architecture design and requirements


• Implement back end services that are built to scale


• Implement unit and integration tests


• Participate in code reviews


• Enhance build and deployment tooling


• Create documentation to improve developer support

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience


• 4+ years’ experience as a full stack software engineer, in web-based development


• Passion for front end development, coupled with deep domain expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS


• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting production services in a statically typed programming language, such as Java or Go


• Comfortable communicating in multi-disciplinary teams

Desired Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge in at least one web framework (ReactJS, EmberJS, AngularJS, etc.)


• Good sense of UI/UX and experience working with designers


• Experience working within the games industry


• A desire to mentor other engineers


• Experience working with the Unity engine


• Expert knowledge in GO and C++


• A passion for game development with a focus on tooling
