Blizzard Academy is seeking a highly motivated, and experienced art training specialist to help us support and drive our art communities' learning needs. The art training program manager is responsible for aiding in our artists' career development, working with art leadership across our development community to help grow our art talent through coordinated seminars, classes, workshops and screenings so that they can focus on building epic experiences for our players.

Responsibilities


  • Partner with art leadership to identify learning needs and opportunities across all game development teams

  • Develop relationships with the artists and understand their strengths and weaknesses

  • Support the professional goals and development opportunities for our entire art staff

  • Plan and create relevant training and internal conferences for artists

  • Source internal and external experts to contribute to our speakers series, /learn

  • Partner with other training specialists for cross-discipline programs (i.e., working with Engineering Specialist on Tech Art programs)

  • Boost communications and facilitate knowledge sharing across the art community

  • Manage our art video library and eLearning accounts

  • Monitor industry trends and innovations to inform training programs

  • Experience with managing, coaching and mentoring artists

  • Cross-disciplinary communications experience between engineering, production, design, and art
