Provider Data Senior Representative - United States (Remote, work from home) at Cigna

Job Description:

SUMMARY:

This position will provide support to the Network Operations staff to ensure accurate loading of provider data, timely resolution of provider issues, and effective communication of performance reports to physicians.

Work Location - United States (Remote, work from home)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for intake and tracking of provider interest forms.

• Provide support for the coordination of provider contracting and tracking credentialing status.

• Responsible for processing monthly updates for provider groups and health systems, as well as reconciling provider loads in all of Cigna system platforms - i.e. claims, directory.

• Provide support for addressing routine questions and issues with provider offices, as well as routine claims issues.

• Coordinate regular provider communications.

• Participate in provider education and meetings periodically.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred

  • Detail oriented, with proven time management and organization skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards).

  • 1+ years working experience within a managed care environment. Claims processing experience, provider support or customer service

  • Experience working within Cigna or Cigna Medicare preferred

  • Act with a sense of urgency to research questions or issues brought by the team, and identify the right parties or resources to resolve the issues.

  • Ability to work independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
