Position Summary

The Product Coordinator role in F5’s Technology Services group provides an entry into technology product management. The position combines admin duties for the team and its leaders with product management responsibilities to gain hands-on product management experience. The Product Coordinator will typically grow into another role on a product team within 2 years.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Management


  • Maintain product workflow materials and support adoption of product practices

  • Develop communication materials

  • Help coordinate and consume user research

  • Help pull/analyze data

  • Participate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance

  • Periodically assume product ownership duties for a user story or feature

Administration


  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars

  • Coordinate offsite events and travel arrangements

  • Reconcile expenses, assist in maintaining department budgets

  • Coordinate team meetings including defining agendas, collecting notes, tracking action items and ensuring follow-through

  • Interact with internal and external audiences on behalf of leaders

  • Lead small projects and provide research assistance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including experience handling multiple executives’ calendars as a delegate

  • Fast learner on adoption of new technologies, e.g. online collaboration and product lifecycle management tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills interacting with diverse audiences

  • Builds strong working relationships with leaders, teammates and partners

  • Capable of managing confidential information with discretion

  • Demonstrated project management skills organizing small teams toward an outcome considering scope, time and budget

  • Able to prioritize multiple simultaneous demands according to importance and impact

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to multi-task and work independently with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to anticipate and proactively meet the needs of executives and teams

Qualifications


  • 4+ years of work experience, preferably in a large corporate environment

  • Experience supporting technology product development teams

  • Degree preferred, ideally in business, computer science or related field

  • Demonstrated desire to pursue technology product management as a career
