Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

*Must be able to obtain Windows MCST and Security + within 6 months of hire.
*Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
*Requires in-depth experience and broad working knowledge/skills in customer relations and understanding of customer service techniques.

Job Skills Requirements:

*Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Microsoft Visual Studio Code
*Must have experience with HTML and CSS.
*Must have experience developing application with JavaScript.
*Must be able to learn new technologies and adapt to various development environments.
*Must have good oral and written communication skills.
*Must have demonstrated ability to perform their duties with a high level of attention to detail.
*Must have strong troubleshooting skills to resolve both hardware and software-related issues.
*Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.
*Must have demonstrated experience as highly motivated; self-directed; able to set priorities and meet deadlines; able to follow through on complex projects; and strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
*Must have the ability to multi-task in a stressful, fast-paced work environment, be highly organized, and possess the willingness to adapt to any situation.

Physical Requirements:

*Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
*Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
*Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
*Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the section SOPs.
*Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.

*Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
*Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

*Experience in agile development methods.
*Experience with MVC framework.
*Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and developing custom queries.

Under limited supervision, this software engineer will develop and maintain software solutions to support enterprise level applications that are built using Microsoft .NET. The software engineer must have an understanding of analysis, design and coding concepts. Security measures will be based on applying baseline security configuration settings as defined in DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) which includes conducting vulnerability scans and remediating findings. This position requires the individual to be available to answer incoming calls, coordinate support activities, communicate with colleagues, route help tickets, and provide technical assistance to customers as requested. This position supports projects to include applications designed in both Microsoft .Net and Microsoft Access. The software engineer must be able to support QA efforts, this includes documenting acceptance workbooks and assisting users with acceptance testing of software deliverables. Other requirements include documenting and implementing security principles, attending regular sprint meetings and the ability to perform in a team environment. The incumbent must have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior customer service skills, be well organized, ability to prioritize tasks, and desire to learn and work with new technologies. Perform other duties as assigned.
