For general application assistance or if you have questions about a job posting, please contact Human Resources at 479.575.5351.Department:CVEG | Civil EngineeringSummary of Job Duties:The CTTP Programmer is responsible for producing customized programs and user-friendly web-based products for managing course registrations, automating correspondence, and tracking individual technician records, as well as producing automated report generation for program statistics. These programs must integrate seamlessly with the existing website and Learning Management System (LMS).
This position will review and evaluate the current laboratory inspection software, and move toward a total rewrite of the system to include program enhancements.
The CTTP Programmer will add the capability to track specific tasks associated with certification processes, including varying user privileges within each step of the approval system; and serve as a test proctor for CTTP courses.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution of higher education
-
At least one year of experience in directly related field

Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with PHP framework
-
Demonstrated familiarity with highway construction

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Knowledge of full-stack development
-
Knowledge of learning management system (LMS) software, hardware maintenance, and web server maintenance

Programming skills using Symfony, PHP, Laravel, MySQL

Programming skills to integrate databases with web applications
