JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

In accordance with C&W Services policies and procedures, this position leads all facility and production equipment maintenance activities at a key client account in Valencia, CA. The account is a new food manufacturing facility consisting of Fanuc Robots, Conveyors, Autonomous Vehicles, Filling/Sealing and Packaging equipment, Hyperbaric Systems, Automatic picking systems and case erectors.

The manager will also be responsible for leading and ensuring Food Safety and Quality activities as they relate to maintenance, leading Continuous Improvement activities as a core duty and ensuring all safety policies are adhered to.

Successful candidates will be energetic with a focus towards data-driven solutions. Continuous Improvement, Food Safety & Quality and equipment reliability are at the heart of this account.

JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Client relationship management: Key stakeholder, communicator, and leader in site level tactical relationship between C&W Services and client.

* Safety program administration: Manage the site level behavioral safety program to promote an injury free workplace.

* Facilities operations: Manage and perform the site s operations program and staff including the continuous improvement of work order processes, job plans, and work order tracking system.

* Budget control, administration, and reporting: Manage all aspects of the maintenance budget.

* Deliver the highest possible uptime for manufacturing equipment. Perform Root Cause Analysis activities to prevent repeat breakdowns.

* Manage onsite subcontractors and inspect work performed.

* Quality program implementation: Manage site level quality program. Provide continuous process improvement and cost leadership.

* Perform and/or ensure routine inspections, preventive maintenance, calibration, functional and operational testing of facility systems and equipment occurs

* Utilize CMMS computer system to document tasks performed and maintain equipment histories including parts replaced, hours worked, time to respond, and time to complete.

* Responsible for completing and data input for all assigned work orders (both corrective and PM) in a timely manner.

* Ensure equipment, tools, and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner.

* Utilize and have a thorough understanding of national and local codes for equipment repair. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA, state and municipal requirements and C&W Services safety policies.

* Ensure performance of quality work and regularly communicate repair status of devices and systems to client site.

* Interaction, coordinating and leading work tasks with informal and formal teams, with other employees and customer representatives from various departments demonstrating a professional demeanor at all times.

* Required to work with, schedule and coordinate activities of other vendors including specialists

* Ensure daily surveys of buildings occur to identify repair and preventive maintenance tasks/needs.

* Report to Director of Operations on a regular basis (daily/weekly) on conditions relative to general operations, safety and day to day activities in the facility

* Responsible for coordination and participating in training and continued professional development in the areas of advancing technology, safety, and general skill improvement.

* Available for ON CALL duty on nights, weekends and holidays to address emergencies

* Have the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate client needs

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES, IF ANY:

* Hire and train account site level staff.

* Manage and evaluate staff performance.

* Lead a team of approximately 10-15 C&W Services staff.

* Safety ensure C&W Services safety policy is implemented and safety program goals are met

* Cost meet annual financial targets

* Quality meet annual goals for callbacks, customer service issues

* Delivery follow work order and services delivery processes meet response and completion time targets

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. * Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or Construction Management degree from an accredited university preferred or equivalent in training and experience.

* Certified Facility Manager, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent preferred.

* 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in a fast paced, manufacturing facility work environment preferred, including minimum 3 years in a management capacity or equivalent education and work experience.

* Extensive knowledge in facilities electric and mechanical systems is preferred.

* Knowledge in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred

* Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

* Demonstrates fiscal responsibility
