As Sr. Business Process and Automation Knowledge Partner, you will play a key role in Pacific Life s growth and long-term success by building expertise in automation across divisions of Pacific Life and sustain and maximize the impact of the program. Your tasks will include researching and testing new BPO / automation techniques, building a library of automation assets across Pacific Life, designing knowledge-sharing events to guide leading-edge techniques (e.g. agile deployment, managing a bot-servicing workforce), and supporting informed procurement. You ll also support expertise sharing and tool scalability across the organization.

What You ll Do


Support of the enterprise arm of the Digital Transformation project, building automation knowledge and expertise for use by the enterprise and divisions

Codify best practices and assets from BU/functions for radiation across other groups; support creation of vendor shortlists, coordination with enterprise procurement and technology office

Develop and implement common standards for opportunity identification, process design, solution delivery, value capture, and support

Incubate new methods and platforms to support needs of BU/functions (e.g., organizing proof of concepts for new automation technologies)

Curate a knowledge management repository for the BPO/automation program

Tech & Tools You ll Use

Automating business processes tools such as OCR, Workflow, and RPA, Agile methodology

Factors for Success


8+ years of experience managing knowledge and assets, as well as automating business processes using tools such as OCR, Workflow, and RPA; experience with financial services and insurance products preferred

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent experience

Ability to analyze complex business system requirements in a wide range of functional areas and to work with others to develop solutions; strong technical aptitude; experience working with technical/service delivery teams within an agile framework

Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs

Strong problem solver with ability to identify options and provide compelling rationale for recommendations

Demonstrated ability to build trust; ability to function as team lead on almost any project, regardless of size or complexity; ability to mentor other less experienced business analysts

Growth mindset, ability to challenge the status quo to find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas; loves and embraces change

Belief in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across the team; willingness to operate outside your comfort zone to learn, and encourage other team members to do the same
