PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Help Desk Specialist to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD. This is a full-time, regular position on the NAWCAD Comptroller team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to computer users.
Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically.
May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
Three (3) to ten (10) years of work experience is required
Selected applicant must have experience using Defense Travel System (DTS) and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for Email
Must have a current Non-NISP Backgroud Investigation or higher-level clearance
Excellent communication skills required
The chosen candidate will need to have great customer service skills to include evaluating inquiries and resolving issues
Navy, NAVAIR, or NAWCAD experience highly desired
Bachelor's degree is desired. An Associate's degree with four (4)+ additional years of experience can substitute for the Bachelor requirement, OR a HS Diploma/GED along with six (6)+ additional years of experience may be substituted.
