Help Desk Specialist | Patuxent River, Maryland

PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Help Desk Specialist to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD. This is a full-time, regular position on the NAWCAD Comptroller team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to computer users.

  • Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically.

  • May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of work experience is required

  • Selected applicant must have experience using Defense Travel System (DTS) and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for Email

  • Must have a current Non-NISP Backgroud Investigation or higher-level clearance

  • Excellent communication skills required

  • The chosen candidate will need to have great customer service skills to include evaluating inquiries and resolving issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Navy, NAVAIR, or NAWCAD experience highly desired

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is desired. An Associate's degree with four (4)+ additional years of experience can substitute for the Bachelor requirement, OR a HS Diploma/GED along with six (6)+ additional years of experience may be substituted.
