The Team


 

We are seeking a Utilities Analyst to join American Tower’s Network Operations team.  The Network Operations team monitors and maintains all of the Company’s U.S. Tower division assets, supporting the frontline representation in the field and strategic programs. Day to day you will maintain databases, implement new processes, and identify opportunities to increase revenue from existing sites. As a Utilities Analyst, you will partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy in tracking, give analysis and recommendations, and generate and manage recurring reports.

What You Can Offer Us


  • Identify, collect and process information to help ensure utilities are paid on time.

  • Audit, review and process invoices, consistent with service level agreements.

  • Assist with placing orders for new services such as power, internet, and fiber at new and existing sites.

  • Use data extracted from systems to build and manage reports and presentations for internal use.

  • Define and document processes to track and manage utilities and telecom expense and revenues for all of US sites.

  • Assist American Tower customers with ensuring that new fiber is installed in the correct easement.

  • Partner cross functionally to build strong customer relationships and provide exemplary customer service.

  • Approximately 5% of time role will be performed outside conventional office environment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of analytical experience working with numbers and data required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience required.

  • Network management experience preferred.

  • Wireless industry experience preferred.

  • Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
