Position Summary:

The Director is an 18 month, grant-based position, responsible for the overall clinical and administrative management of the Hospital Based Violence Intervention Program to include annual program performance, program goals, and day to day operations. The Program Director will be responsible for ensuring that all levels of the Program are trauma-informed, collaborative and inclusive of the appropriate stakeholders feedback and suggestions. The Program Director is a critical conduit in building effective Collaborative Partnerships and ensures that services are reflective of community need.



Trainings:

CPI and BLS and First Aide required.





Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Consistently imparting a vision of Trauma Informed and Evidenced-Based Care


  • Professionally engaging in AtlantiCare Core Values in all interactions


  • Ensuring that Program Staff are engaging AtlantiCare Values and Program Philosophy in all interactions


  • Developing and Monitoring program policy and procedures


  • Monitoring best practices and standards of care for Violence Prevention Programming


  • Conducting regular Program Vision Meeting and assessing and monitoring staff morale and/or burnout


  • Providing motivation and support for staff to encourage and maintain high morale and consistency


  • Providing consistent Clinical and administrative supervision of program staff


  • Consistently developing and monitoring Collaborative Community Partnerships


  • Working closely with Media and Marketing to produce quality outreach material and identifying and developing appropriate Public Service Announcements (PSAs)


  • Coordinating and Collaborating with Hospital Medical Team to ensure collaborative focus and buy-in


  • Immediately addressing stakeholder concerns in accordance with AtlantiCare Policy


  • Developing and Monitoring Program Score Card and System Goals


  • Monitoring Program Documentation and reconciling out of compliance and quality concerns


  • Analyzing data and programmatic outcomes to enhance program offering and progress





Minimal Qualifications:

Master Degree in Social Work, Social Service and 5 years relevant experience with at least 2 years of Supervisory Experience with similar populations, knowledge of evidenced-based treatments and assessments.



Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of geographic, cultural/linguistic match to community and Program Participants, Experience with trauma-informed care and violence intervention programs a plus



Licensure: Valid NJ driver's license in good standing required. License in Discipline in one of professional Trainings : (LSW, LCSW, LMFT)



Equipment Use: Computer, copier, facsimile, and shredder.
