We are looking for a full-time Marketing Specialist - Subscription Programs for our office in Yarmouth, ME. In this role you will coordinate and lead a variety of initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the subscriber management team. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop, produce and maintain B2C and B2B marketing and sales content. Work effectively with the other associates to complete projects for a variety of marketing channels, including email campaigns, customer testimonials, web pages, webinars, case studies, brochures and sales sheets, blog posts, market research, data reporting, sales presentations and more. Create scripts and documentation for product and billing support communications. Provide regular reports on subscriber data and trends


Subscriber Content Development and Production 

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and Copywriter to write content for targeted audiences and defined subscriber personas to spur increased usage and enhance product understanding

  • Research, write and edit B2B content, including emails, case studies, whitepapers, testimonials, sell sheets, presentations and marketing content

  • Write and edit support articles, user guides and telephone scripts to ensure consistency and quality for billing and product support communications 

  • Provide general editing and proofreading support for technical and marketing content 

  • Understand and use content production software and platforms, as well as planning and teamwork platforms (e.g. Jira or Trello) 

Subscriber Content Projects 

  • Working with the Subscriber Management Team, contribute to the understanding and definition of the ideal subscriber experience, consistent with the Garmin brand and industry best practices

  • Working with the subscriber management team, identify customer/subscriber trends and respond with appropriate tactics 

  • Contribute to developing customer journey maps, customer personas and customer surveys

  • Research, develop, and write content for the service websites, devices, billing documentation and more 

  • Administrative and business communications support for major ecosystem partners 

  • Support the creation of digital content, including emails, images, sales collateral, and presentations 

Device and Subscription Service Data Reporting  

  • Create and maintain performance dashboards, including subscriber usage activity, suspensions, cancellations, and engagement stats, to inform strategic and tactical decision-making 

  • Create dashboards and automated reports on key business metrics and industry trends

  • Support reporting of email marketing data and trends 

Subscriber Management and Subscriber Sales Team Support 

  • Work with local and remote teams, domestic and international

  • Train and provide back-up support to team members with their assigned tasks, as needed



  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or a field relevant to the essential functions of this job description

  • Must possess a minimum of 1 year product/program management experience within a marketing and/or advertising environment

  • Excellent proofreading and copy-editing skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

  • Must possess demonstrated strong presentation skills

  • Basic HTML skills

  • Ability to learn and effectively apply knowledge of marketing and communications best practices

  • Ability to work with subject matter experts to develop a deep understanding of Garmin products and subscription services in order to concept and write informative content

  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision


  • B2C/B2B marketing experience

  • Experience working with subscription-based products and/or services

  • Experience using digital project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, etc.)

  • Personal interest and/or professional experience outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, boating or aviation

  • Travel, as needed
