Newly created position within the Homeowner Services division of American Water - We are looking for a digital marketing/advertising guru, who is hands-on, creative, strategic and is eager to own a large portion of our outreach efforts! This position will sit out of our beautiful headquarters in Camden, NJ and is an immediate opportunity for the right candidate. Manages day-to-day operations of select activities for HOS with responsibility for the performance success of new customer acquisition through digital channels across brands. Develops and executes strategies and optimizes tactical digital mix to drive acquisition and maximize opportunities to meet business objectives. Builds on existing base of business intelligence and provides strong analytical leadership. Provides oversight of online acquisition initiatives and associated budget management. Assists with the development and implementation of our marketing plan. Works cross-functionally with Digital Manager for owned assets.
New Customer Acquisition:
Develop profit driven new customer digital acquisition strategy to meet growth objectives in all segments.
Provide recommendations for strategy development, targeting methodologies, creative design, and tactical execution and garnering of business intelligence.
Lead development and execution of digital campaigns working with existing agencies and identifying new resources.
Report on segment and program results and trends, comparing pertinent geographic, demographic, and psychographic variables.
Provide strong analysis of collected data providing summaries outlining actionable recommendations based on interpretation of findings.
Lead other new customer acquisition channel efforts potentially including referrals, utilizing contractor network, affiliate marketing, new movers.
Budget & Finance:
Participate in the development, review and presentation of the marketing budget related to paid digital spending and return on investment.
Manage customer acquisition online marketing and video budgets.
Manage timetables and communication efforts with agency and internal team keeping projects on time and in budget.
Participate in the monthly P&L review to ensure marketing goals stay on track.
Identify opportunities and develop programs to keep on track of budget performance.
Work cross functionality with all HOS teams and members to efficiently accomplish department and business objectives.
Provide strong and effective leadership to the direct and indirect reports with strategic direction and assistance to drive operational excellence in their key areas of responsibility including product management, online marketing functional ownership and tactical deployment.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related disciple required.
A minimum of 7 years demonstrated marketing experience in customer acquisition utilizing digital media including customer experience, P&L management, budget planning, campaign management and brand building development through execution and market research.
Strong record of accomplishment for successful people development across multiple locations.
