Job Description:

Case Aide needed to join our team in New York. In this role you will be responsible for many aspects of client supervision and program operations. You will provide a safe environment while facilitating counseling, advocacy, and support to our clients. Responsible for supporting client case management including intake assessments.  You will be a part of a team helping to guide clients in their development and assist them to become a positive influence in the community. The Case Aide position is a great opportunity to gain hands on human service reentry experience and be a part of a supportive team.  As a Case Aide you will work Monday-Friday 11am-7pm

Community Solutions Inc. (CSI) is a nonprofit organization that promotes the responsible citizenship, accountability, and well-being of individuals and families involved, or at risk of involvement, in the child welfare, juvenile justice, or criminal justice system. Since CSI’s founding in 1962, it has been a pioneer in the community-based service. We have been delivering supervision, treatment, and comprehensive individualized services to help clients interact more effectively in their communities and become productive citizens. Using this plan we built the first ever halfway house in New England which has now been replicated and grown to almost 50 programs in 10 states. For over 50 years, CSI has been building upon its successful foundations and has been expanding its services to serve thousands of adults, youth, and families each year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:

  • Maintains accountability for clients’ location and implements all policies and procedures including:

    • Providing client support and supervision

    • Assist the case management team

    • Complete testing as required by contract

    • Inspect facility common areas and outside perimeter daily

    • Implement key control and emergency procedures

    • Collects intake data

    • Develops and documents program plan goals with clients

  • Bachelor’s degree in a social science field and one year experience in social services or similar field.

  • Education may be substituted with experience on a year for year basis.

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills desired.

  •  Experience with Microsoft Office.
