POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Business Support position is responsible for supporting the Information Technology Department in the administrative/clerical tasks that ensures the group operates in a smooth, efficient, and professional manner. This position will also assist other departments, such as Reception, as needed. The ideal IT Business Support candidate is highly responsible, punctual and embodies exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



DEPARTMENTAL (JOB SPECIFIC TASKS):

Assist the Director of Information Technology with the coordination of all aspects of company cell phones; including, but not limited to: invoice accuracy, training, configuration, data overage monitoring, ordering, tracking repairs, and inventory.
Responsible for maintaining "par" levels of IT inventory at all locations.
Assists IT Staff in the care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies to ensure all office equipment/machinery are operating appropriately.
Assisting with IT documentation as needed.
Assist the Front Desk Reception area as needed.
Uses Microsoft Office Programs to produce correspondence, reports, forms, schedules, minutes and a variety of other materials, as requested.
Safeguards confidential/sensitive information and follows all policies and regulations regarding the sharing of such information both within and without the organization.
Demonstrates excellent organization and time management with duties, responsibilities, and assignments inluding any assigned projects or events.
Other duties as assigned.

Monitors, reviews and submits office/IT supplies requests for the department as needed. Verify orders are appropriate, ask questions if something is not clear, and be a good steward of company resources.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education: H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
Associates in Information Technology or related degree preferred.
3+ years of office administrative experience highly desired.
Intermediate knowledge of office practices and procedures including filing, record keeping and the use of office equipment such as computer, telephone, scanner, and fax equipment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point etc.
Proficient at maintaining accurate electronic records, compiling data and preparing reports, and taking meeting minutes.
Professional office skills when communicating with customers, both internal and external
Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, time management, organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication skills with sound knowledge of grammar and spelling and arithmetic.
Must be willing to travel to different facilities and have reliable transportation and current insurance.

May be exposed to a risk of bodily injury through contact with moving instrumentation, substances and other conditions common to an office environment. Subject to unpleasant odors.
