The Planning & Development Department exists to help Financial Advisors and branch teams achieve performance objectives as outlined in their business plans by providing tailored consulting, development, guidance and direction. There are multiple functions in this department:
Planning & Development Consultants who support new Financial Advisors and field based Performance Leadership teams to execute business plans
In-Field Support Specialists who work in market to support Financial Advisors in their first 12 months

Responsibilities:
Attract, retain, and develop a diverse team of associates to successfully support branch teams and the firm.
Lead a highly skilled team who work autonomously and are comfortable working in the gray
Develop and execute team objectives and assess associate performance in support of department and firm objectives
Provide feedback, coaching, training and guidance to help develop associates to enhance current and future contributions
Serve as a liaison by representing the department on division and firm wide committees/projects that drive business results
Ensure efficient operation of the department
Series 7 and 66 required or obtained within 60 days of hire
Up to 30% travel required
A minimum of 2+ years with formal or informal leadership experience
Proven success working in consultative environment
Past experience working directly with branch teams
Ability to lead and manage multiple roles with varying functions and level of responsibilities
Understanding of the field's training and development program
Excellent people management skills including: interpersonal, communication, and collaboration
Ability to set priorities and delegate
Ability to successfully lead associates who are field-based and home-based
Effectively coordinate and manage multiple project
