Quality Assurance Coordinator sought to join our team of FFT Therapists in New York. In this role you will perform quality assurance functions relative to NY ACS and FFT electronic documentation systems. You will assist the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor with clinical and administrative review of charts, including documentation review to ensure compliance with administration for Children's Services Prevention Service quality assurance standards and indicators for best practice and adherence to the Functional Family Therapy protocol for documentation.
Work schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:
Review Family Assessment Service Plans for timeliness of submission and content.
Review FASPS for correlation with progress notes to ensure that FASP includes status ofprogress in the FFT model, and reflects assessments of all children on all four domains.
Ensure that FASPS contain thorough safety assessments of the conditions of the homeincluding: stability of home, age appropriate sleeping arrangements for all children andproper sleeping arrangements for infants.
Review and provide feedback on continuity between all program databases (Connections,CSS and PROMIS data bases) and Encounter Forms.
Conduct routine chart review for completion and thoroughness of forms, and at caseclosing,
Provide Safety Assessments on high risk cases i.e. review DV and Sex TraffickingScreenings, immunization records for children > 2 years of age.
Review and aid with tracking and making recommendations for other high risk cases i.e.missing or youth who have absconded , OR any high risk situation identified i.e. mentalhealth issues of parent of caregiver, mental health issues of children, families in need ofimmediate concrete assistance.
Assist PD and Supervisor in development of tracking system to monitor pre and post FFT assessments.
Review audit results and formulate corrective action plans. Assist in implementation of corrective action plans.
Work in conjunction with ACS documentation systems trainers to ensure compliance.
Collect and compile reports for Program Director to share with team members and Area Director, including statistics, outcomes, trends, and other data. Input data when appropriate.
Assures data quality. Cross compares secondary and tertiary information against electronic and other systems to ensure high data quality.
Masters’ degree in a social science field and three years’ experience in the social service, quality assurance, and or NY state administrative field. Education may be substituted with experience on a year for year basis.
Knowledge of Administration for Children’s Prevention Service Quality Assurance Standards and indicators, PAMS and APA guidelines.
Proficiency in Connections and PROMIS databases.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills desired.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
