KMHS is Kitsap’s nonprofit, designated community mental health provider for adults with acute and/or chronic serious mental illnesses, and children with serious emotional disturbances and their families. To provide on-going supervision of clients in the Madrona Day Treatment Program at KMHS. To participate in all program activities and participate as milieu treatment team member.
To improve the operations of KMHS in support of its stated mission. To provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Support Services Supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires: High school diploma or GED; valid WA State Driver License; insured transportation; current Food Handler Permit, ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background investigation and the ability to work a flexible, changing schedule. Relevant education and/or experience strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk, use hands to finger or handle, reach with hands and arms, talk or listen and lift up to 50 pounds. Peripheral vision is also required for this position. A fair degree of flexibility and strength is required in this position due to the infrequent, yet essential, `take downs` on the unit.
