Description

The Engineering Project Management Co-op
will employ leadership and organizational skills while assisting in the
maintenance and improvement of the Product Evaluation schedules to optimize the
use of physical, computational, and personnel resources. A knowledge of
Agile/Lean scheduling processes is ideal. The successful candidate will have
prior exposure to project management processes as well as strong communication
and conflict resolution skills. They should be proactive, collaborative,
flexible, resourceful, and efficient.

 
Responsibilities



    • Work
      with internal engineering teams to understand project needs and support
      project schedule development

    • Work to
      understand alignment of schedule and follow up with requestors on status

    • Implement
      process improvement ideas

    • Forecast
      future performance and perform risk analysis of schedules

    • Review
      and analyze schedule performance against baseline plans

    • Generate
      and improve Product Evaluation metrics to accurately measure the team
      performance

    Requirements



      • Required
        Major(s): Engineering Management, Technology Management, Construction
        Management, or related fields

      • GPA:
        3.0

      • Status:
        Junior or Senior standing

      • Project
        management skills and experience in conflict resolution

      • Knowledge of Lean and/or Agile schedule processes

      • Ability
        to successfully analyze and present data to multiple levels of the
        organization

      • Problem
        solving and analytical skills

      • Ability
        to give effective presentations, written reports, and proposals

      • Proactive, collaborative, flexible, resourceful,
        and efficient
